TUCKER CREEK

Tucker Creek is one of the finest subdivisions in the area.  Homes in Tucker Creek run from the mid $140s to the high $250s.  The development has a community boat ramp, and landing, for the use of its homeowners.  The creek provides direct access to the Neuse River, the widest river in North America (19 miles wide at the mouth). 

Several of the area's better builders have been building in the development for a number of years, and the community is still probably a year, to a year and a half, from being built-out.  Property in the community has enjoyed a very favorable rate of appreciation over the years.  Tucker Creek Middle School is located right at the edge of the development.  The subdivision is convenient to the base, and is located between Havelock and New Bern just off U. S. Highway 70.
