Taberna

Taberna is perhaps the finest development in the area.  Homes in Taberna run from the $230s to the high $540s. 

It is located just off U. S. Highway 70, between New Bern and Havelock.  A number of the finest contractors in the area have been building fine homes in Taberna for a number of years.  The development probably will be built-out within the next, two (2) or so, years. 

The community has a very fine golf course, a wonderful Club House, and a well designed swimming pool.  It also has some limited waterfront properties on Brice's Creek, which flows into the Trent River, which in turn, flows into the Neuse River.  This development also is an area which has experienced a fine rate of appreciation over the last several years.
